The thoughts that run through our mind, that are holding us back can be seen as the monkey mind. It

is called that, as our mind is similar to a monkey, jumping from one thought to another, like the

monkey does from one tree to another, not being peaceful and centred.

Being scattered and unfocused we lose energy and achieve nothing. The monkey mind is even more

damaging when the thoughts are bringing us down with doubt, fear and anxiety. Thoughts that

we are not good enough or excuses such as 'I will start to change when I have this or that', which is

just fear of the unknown holding us back.

When it comes to damaging thoughts of how we aren't good enough or perfect just as we are, we

start to block growth of our personal journey. Everything happens in divine time. If the same thoughts

came from a close friend, we would not accept them as this is not constructive and the person would

rise to our level of communication or no longer be a big part of our life. However when we speak to

our self without love or respect, we have a little more difficulty in detaching from the negative

thoughts. Even worse as we are so close to those doubtful thoughts, we listen to them and start

believe them.

Meditation allows us to create long lasting change in the brain and how we think. We can easily

release this negative friend in our mind and become more true to our authentic beautiful self.

Releasing the old negative habits makes way for the new and constructive thought patterns.

This is a simple and enjoyable process and beautifully grows our awareness of our self and our

abilities. Similar to that of a flower, as it opens naturally and in the divine time without being forcing to

open, our meditation practice is one to be experienced, not controlled or scared it's not correct. Allow

your practice to be like a flower and appreciate its great beauty. Just as it is special to watch our

relationship with our self grow and blossom. Our meditation practice creates this inner awareness and

a beautiful relationship with our self, gifting us the ability to create a masterpiece of our life.

When we let go of the bad relationship we have with our self and start to create a beautiful one, we

can also see this have amazing effects on our relationships with others by having more love and

compassion for our self we can easily have more love and compassion for the people in our life. All

great relationships start with us.

Let go of what is no longer serving you and make way for more abundance of that which you wish to

see in your life.
